In the second window of the 2022/23 pot we received 8 applications for a total of £26,296.38.
We’re pleased to announce the following organisations were successful
- BCSA (Approved by Egdon due to conflict of interest)
- Allotment Association
- Skatepark Group
- 2nd Broughton Brownies
- Broughton Primary School
- Broughton Youth Centre
- Little Acorns Preschool
BCSA was joined by an Egdon representative to ensure all grants were considered fairly, and members with a conflict of interest were not permitted to vote.
We will leave it to the individual societies to announce the new projects/equipment that they will be launching as a result of this funding in due course, and case studies will be shared at a later date.
As a committee, we would like to thank Egdon for this funding. These projects are outstanding and will be of real benefit to the community of Broughton. We are proud to be able to help to facilitate getting this funding into Broughton and cannot wait to see some of the opportunities our residents will have available as a result.
